uSamp Hires CTO
In the US, online panels firm uSamp has appointed Steven Sobolevsky, a web application product management specialist, as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Sobolevsky will guide the firm's product and IT strategy and execute its next generation panel platform.
Founded in 2008 and formerly known as United Sample, uSamp provides survey panelists and technology for accessing, branding and managing panels. The firm has a staff of 90 working at its operations in Los Angeles, India, Connecticut and London.
Earlier in the year, the firm launched SampleMarket, a one-stop software solution for panel project management, and PanelNet, a tool to build private label online panels customized to meet the specifications of any worldwide brand.
Sobolevsky joins with fourteen years' experience in web application product management, software development and IT infrastructure expertise. Most recently, he served as VP of Technology at RazorGator Interactive, where he managed the consumer e-commerce platform and built a corporate ticket management platform.
Prior to this, Sobolevsky was the software architect of Outreach Express, an SaaS platform for ordering laboratory tests and result reporting, enabling physicians and labs to communicate electronically while giving doctors instant access to data.
