IFF Research Promotes Two to the Board

London-based full-service agency IFF Research has promoted directors Katie Oldfield and Rob Irving to its Board of Directors.

Rob IrvingEstablished in 1965, IFF conducts research for a wide range of private and public sector clients. The firm has particular expertise across a number of sectors including learning and skills, regulation, the third sector, financial services and employment and benefits.

Oldfield joined the firm six years ago as a Project Manager, and was promoted in 2008 to the post of Associate Director, specialising in Employment & Benefits research. Prior to joining, she spent two years at TNS.

Irving joined as an interviewer in 1999, and after a stint working as a Data Processing Executive, rose to the position of Head of the Data Processing Unit in 2006.

'Rob and Katie are two first rate team players who have successfully risen through the ranks and played central roles in building the IFF business,' states Joint MD Jan Shury. 'Rob has developed our data processing offer with new software systems and the introduction of a specialist online capability; while Katie's impressive track record in business generation has cemented our position as the UK's top Employment & Benefits research agency.'

Additionally, Research Executives Peter Hall, Catherine Riley and Gill Stewart, who joined IFF as part of the firm's graduate training programme, have been made Project Managers.

Shury says that this promotion reflects their impressive work to date.
