Revelation Debuts Survey App
Online software and services firm Revelation has announced the beta release of an iPhone app, 'Revelation Mobile', which promises to capture and record consumer behavior in real time.
 The new system offers seamless integration with other reporting and analytics tools and features diary-style input tracking consumers' purchases, behavior, and consumption; photo uploads (see picture) to help users 'capture their environment'; and a combination of open- and closed-ended prompts.
The initial, limited public release will continue until June 30, to be followed by an 'incubation period' before the full release.
CEO and founder Steve August comments: 'We are tremendously excited by the ability of app-based mobile research to capture 'in the moment' customer experiences, but there is still much to understand in terms of both technology and best practices. With this beta iPhone app release, Revelation has a platform that will help researchers discover and develop cutting edge mobile research methods.'
