IRI Promotes Schneider for European Role

US retail market intelligence giant IRI has promoted company veteran Cary Schneider to the position of EVP of European Operations and Transformation, reporting to President Nigel Howlett.

Cary SchneiderIRI - which was recently re-branded as SymphonyIRI in the US - provides consumer, shopper and market insights for the consumer packaged goods, retail and healthcare industries. On Friday, the firm announced that it has integrated EmSense's neuromeasurement headsets with its BehaviorScan service, to quantify shoppers' emotional and cognitive responses to new products and ad campaigns.

Schneider joined the firm back in 1988, since when he has held a number of positions including EVP North American Operations and SVP, Chief Operating Officer. In his new role, he will be responsible for developing and delivering all operational and transformational strategies for IRI across Europe.

'Furthermore as IRI becomes a truly globalised business, Cary's expertise is particularly relevant as we develop solutions across continents for our multinational clients.'
