Terapeak Adds PayPal Measurement
In the US, Advanced Ecommerce Research Systems (Advanced) has expanded its eBay market research solution Terapeak to encompass analysis of activity taking place through PayPal.
 Founded in 2004, Advanced delivers ecommerce-based analytics and insight to support the investment, product management, marketing and advertising decisions of thousands of clients.
Its Terapeak software - which is the only service authorised by eBay to perform statistical analysis of the auction site's closed auctions - was developed to provide users with details reports on market activity and items that are in high demand.
Advanced has now re-designed the software to help online sellers better understand their transactional data, while analysing the buying audience, the effect of marketing, and seasonal changes.
The new tool uses the firm's existing understanding of large databases to provide a customizable and in-depth view of PayPal account activity.
'This new toolset allows sellers to put a microscope over their accounts and gain a thorough understanding of their customers,' said Advanced/Terapeak CEO Fred Speckeen. 'When used in combination with our Terapeak for eBay research, sellers can further increase the efficiency of their online stores.'
