Livra Panels Launches iPhone App
Buenos Aires, Argentina-based Livra Panels has launched an iPhone application which gives respondents another way to participate in its online community.
 The free app means iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad users can vote on user generated polls, get alerts on new surveys to complete, share their activity on the Facebook newsfeed and check which client surveys are pending or available for completion.
Co-CEO Diego Meller notes a trend 'in which the browser is loosing ground against mobile applications when it comes to accessing specific content on the web', and adds: 'We are constantly looking for new ways to let people interact with our site and this app is just another way. People are accessing the web more and more from their smartphones and we want to be there.'
Latin American specialist Livra runs online panels and consumer communities in over 21 countries. Founded in 1999 it was acquired by The Ipsos Group in 2008, but is still managed as an independent specialized unit by founders Meller and Martín Añazco.
