MB Hires Yahoo! HR Specialist for New Talent Role

In the UK, brand research specialist Millward Brown has hired former Yahoo! HR leader Kerstin von der Brelie for its newly created post of Chief Talent Officer - Europe.

Kerstin von der Brelievon der Brelie joins with more than 14 years' managerial HR experience. Most recently, she served as Head of HR, European Business at Yahoo!, where as a member of the European HR leadership team, she had responsibility for the commercial HR business partnership, driving business performance, cost efficiencies and organisational effectiveness.

Prior to this, she was Senior HR Manager at AOL Europe, and HR Manager at Bertelsmann's former Pay-TV division Premiere.

In her new role, von der Brelie will sit on the European Board and report directly to Tim Wragg, Millward Brown's CEO, Europe. Her main tasks include aligning business and talent strategies, organisational and talent development, and HR systems development.

'Staff are at the centre of an ambitious growth agenda in Europe, so this is a critical appointment for me and the European board,' states Wragg. 'Kerstin is an impressive individual with a proven track record in developing people in a fast-paced international business environment, and we'll be a stronger business with her on the leadership team.'
