Synovate Promotes Domingo for Iberia/LatAm CEO Role

Synovate has promoted Enrique Domingo to the position of CEO for Iberia and Latin America: he was previously MD for Iberia. He replaces Ignacio Galceran, who is leaving the firm at the end of this month to take up the post of Regional CEO Latin America at TNS.

Enrique DomingoSynovate has offices in eight countries in Latin America (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Mexico and Peru), and in the Iberian countries, Spain and Portugal.

Domingo, who has more than 24 years' experience in market research and business development, joined Synovate in 2002, after his own firm INNER Strategic Research was acquired by the group.

During his time with the company, he has been instrumental in building many parts of its business in Iberia and Latin America, and has also supported the launch of the firm's business in Latin America through the opening of offices in Brazil and Argentina.

In addition, Domingo has held positions in both national and international industry associations including ESOMAR, EFAMRO and Spanish market research association ANEIMO.

His new role will continue to be based in Madrid, where he will work closely with the local Iberia and Latin America management teams.

'Enrique has always stayed close to research and to clients even while occupying senior roles in management,' states Brent Stewart, CEO for Strategic Units & Global Business Planning. 'This type of focus makes him the perfect choice to continue to build our client relationships in Latin America and Iberia.'

Galceran, who took up the post of CEO of Latin America in 2007, is relocating from Miami to Sao Paulo, Brazil to join TNS as a member of the firm's Global Executive Committee.
