Buyer Sought for Field Facts Worldwide

In the UK, global data collection agency Field Facts Worldwide has been put up for sale by administrator and business recovery specialist Leonard Curtis. Sources suggest that overseas facilities belonging to the firm have closed.

Field Facts: seeking buyerField Facts Worldwide - which was founded in 1987 by Marianne Schafer and latterly managed by her son David - offers multi-country data collection through a full range of fieldwork methodologies including mystery shopping.

While its subsidiary in Frankfurt, Germany has already closed, the London-based operation is continuing to trade with a team of 21 staff, while a buyer is sought.

Sources have told DRNO that the firm's facilities in Paris, France and client services centre in Chicago US have also closed, but this information is yet to be confirmed.

A spokesperson for Leonard Curtis told DRNO that a number of parties have 'expressed an interest' in acquiring the business as a going concern.

'It is hoped that a sale can be achieved as soon as possible to preserve its value for the benefit of all creditors,' the administrators said in a statement.
