Converseon Adds Twitter Firehose to Chat Analysis Tool

In the US, social media consultancy Coverseon has released an update of Conversation Monitor; its social media monitoring platform which now offers access to Twitter Firehose - or approximately 90 million tweets per day.

Rob KeyFounded in 2001, Converseon provides management consulting, activation, research and listening tools, to help clients tap into social media to meet business objectives.

Earlier this year, the company partnered with word-of-mouth analytics firm ChatThreads to create CHORUS; a tool which fuses social media listening and analysis with offline word-of-mouth tracking.

Its Conversation Monitor provides real-time listening into online conversations for customer service, PR, campaign engagement, and reputation management analysis.

The upgraded Conversation Monitor Plus includes full access to the stream of Twitter updates, known as the Twitter Firehose. Enhanced filtering technologies have been developed to increase data relevancy, while an improved search function makes it easier to find and follow specific conversations.

Through the tool, users can view record details, or measure volume spikes with one click, and workflow enhancements enable team members to communicate and collaborate on the most significant conversations.

'Adding access to the Twitter's full data set and providing enhanced filtering technologies significantly improves the quality and quantity of the information available to our clients,' states founder and CEO Rob Key (pictured). 'New features like streaming view, response notes and improved search functionality, make the information more actionable throughout the listening organization.'
