Ormiston Joins YouGov to Drive US Offer

Less than three months after joining Nunwood to lead its new Los Angeles office, industry veteran Jane Ormiston has left to take up the post of EVP of Marketing Insights North America for online specialist YouGov.

Jane OrmistonIn addition to North America and the UK, YouGov has offices in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. In April, the firm expanded its presence in the US with the acquisition of marketing and research consulting firm the Harrison Group, and in October it announced a 38% increase in US revenues for the year ended 31 July 2010.

Ormiston joins with more than 20 years' domestic and international, custom and syndicated market research experience from across the financial services, FMCG, technology, oil and transportation industries.

Prior to her brief stint at Nunwood, Ormiston spent six years as EVP at GfK Custom Research North America, where she developed business plans and provided senior-level project design and consulting, and led client activation workshops. Before this, she worked for Research International as SVP of Corporate Client Service, and held positions at NFO, BASES, and the Angus Reid Group.
