Dubit Rolls Out 'Direct to Youth' Online Omnibus

Youth research and marketing strategist Dubit is launching what it describes as the UK's first 'direct to youth' online omnibus survey, offering companies regular access to its research panel.

Jonathan CloughLeeds-based Dubit runs direct to youth online panels and networks in the UK, to track young people's trends, motivations and behaviours. The firm's new 'Dubit Youth Omnibus' will survey 1,000 11-18 year olds across the UK, with fieldwork lasting seven days and results presented the following week. Potential participants have until January 17 to submit their questions and future omnibuses will run on a monthly basis.

The omnibus uses the agency's Informer Panel, which comprises 37,000 young people aged 11-24. Panellists under the age of 16 are only admitted after verbal and written consent from their parents.

'Increasingly we are finding agencies and brands need the ability to access young people with one or two questions, either to test ideas, help support pitches or generate that elusive headline for their client,' explains Head of Online Research Services, Jonathan Clough (pictured). 'By offering the omnibus solution, we are ensuring that in a climate where budgets are still tight, research can be afforded to continue to play a central role.'
