Crowd DNA Appoints Trends Specialist

In the UK, full service research agency Crowd DNA has appointed trend and consumer insight specialist Terna Jibo as Research and Strategy Director.

Terna JiboFormed in 2008, Shoreditch, London-based Crowd DNA conducts commercial and thought leadership research in areas such as media, fashion retail, technology and entertainment. The firm explores new trends, changing behavior and emergent opportunities through NPD and communications testing, audience segmentation, competitor analysis and social media tracking.

In 2009, the company launched a new division to combine effectiveness testing methods with techniques to gain a deeper understanding of levels of engagement with / the word-of-mouth potential of adverts and campaigns.

Jibo joins from 2CV Research, where he ran and directed qual research projects across a number of sectors. Prior to this, he was a Senior Planner at digital creative agency Good Technology, responsible for distilling consumer research and insights into briefs.

Earlier in his career, he worked as a Strategist at Naked Communications, and as a researcher for Informer Brand Development and Frognation. Before moving into the research industry, Jibo was a freelance music journalist.

'Terna is a highly experienced researcher who's going to fit in really well with the company culture, and is going to bring some significant new firepower to our offering, particularly in the areas of media and technology,' states Crowd DNA founder and MD Andy Crysell. 'We've big plans to grow the agency in 2011 and Terna will play a key role in this.'
