Searchmetrics Raises $6.75m
In Germany, search analytics and web intelligence provider Searchmetrics has secured a $6.75m investment, earmarked for continued international expansion.
 From its headquarters in Berlin and subsidiaries and offices in New York and London, Searchmetrics offers a suite of search analytics tools to help companies measure which search terms drive traffic to their web sites.
The firm says its platform of search engine optimization (SEO) technologies offers one of the world's largest keyword databases, which constantly refreshes keyword data to provide customers with insights into their search engine rankings, as well as the search strategies of their competitors.
This latest funding - which brings the company's total monies raised to approximately $11m - was led by new financing partner Iris Capital, and existing investors Holtzbrinck Digital and Neuhaus Partners.
