UK Spice Firm Opens Sensory Lab
In the UK, herb and spice firm McCormick has invested £1.5m in a new Technical Innovation Centre (TIC), which will feature a sensory lab for product evaluation.
 The Haddenham, Bucks-based TIC will house a team of consumer insight, marketing, sensory, culinary and product development specialists. As well as the sensory lab, the TIC will include an area for concept development and kitchens for culinary testing and recipe creation.
'The TIC gives us the ability to invite our customers to come and work hands-on with us to deliver some great results together,' states Commercial Director James Millward. 'We are also looking forward to utilising the TIC to be able to share valuable insight with chefs and gain important feedback from them too.'
