KN Sets Up Public Affairs Practice Outside DC

Consumer specialist Knowledge Networks (KN) has set up a new practice outside Washington DC, offering solutions to PR firms, non-profits and trade associations; and hired Christopher Moessner to lead it.

Christopher MoessnerThe new practice, for which the team is yet to be built, will be led by Moessner as Vice President, Public Affairs; and will form part of the company's Government and Academic Research unit.

Moessner joins with more than 20 years of experience using opinion research data to develop and implement government and corporate communications programs.

Most recently, he ran his own market research consultancy Moessner and Associates, where his clients included industry associations, cause marketers, non-profits, and government/military clients, as well as Fortune 500 companies. Prior to this, he spent two years at Stewart and Partners as SVP, Partner, before which he was a Senior Research Director at Harris/Wirthlin Worldwide for more than 15 years. While in this latter role, Moessner was a member of Wirthlin's Communications and Marketing team, prior to the company's merger with Harris Interactive.
