Usability Software Enhanced

Userlytics has launched an enterprise version of its video-based remote usability testing platform, promising agencies the ability to test their campaigns, applications and online properties with audiences around the world.

Alejandro Rivas-MicoudHeadquartered in San Mateo, California, with a European subsidiary in Madrid, Spain, Userlytics uses webcams, social networks and demographic targeting to help agencies test how end-users are responding to their online and off-line initiatives.

Users of the platform can recruit testers matched with specific demographics, and then receive a full video replay of the participants interacting with their campaign, and answering market and design questions. It can also be used to test software applications, e-commerce sites, movie trailers and political ads.

With Userlytics Enterprise, clients receive an executive summary of key events and comments hyperlinked to the relevant videos and timelines. Additional functionality includes the ability to download the 'Video in Videos' (ViV), which synchs video of the tester with video of their onscreen activity - for use in presentations and internal media. It also allows clients to annotate each participant video, to highlight significant user feedback.

CEO Alejandro Rivas-Micou says the platform enables clients to 'ride alongside as target audiences, in the real world context of their home or work' and adds: 'No other solution provides this type of rich multimedia record of users' actions, thoughts and feelings or is as easy, fast and cost-effective to use.'
