Compete Hires Former Crimson Hexagon Chief Exec

In the US, digital measurement specialist Compete - now part of Kantar Media - has appointed former Crimson Hexagon CEO Scott Centurino as Chief Operating Officer, to help manage the firm's growth.

Scott CenturinoCompete was established in the US in 2000, and acquired by TNS in 2008. The firm provides a broad spectrum of digital marketing solutions from audience insight and path-to-purchase tracking to media planning and marketing.

Before Crimson Hexagon, Centurino held leadership positions at Mobile Messaging Solutions, Matchmine and Burntsand.

In his new role, he reports to Compete President Scott Ernst, who comments: 'Scott has a track record of success in our industry and has worked closely with advertisers, agencies and publishers to develop tools that harness the power of data. We're in a period of tremendous growth at Kantar Media Compete, and Scott's ability to get teams aligned around common goals and channel their energy makes him the ideal fit for this time in our company's history.'
