Kadence Shakes Up Singapore Operations

Research consultancy Kadence International has promoted Greg Clayton to MD for Singapore, replacing the departing Piers Lee; and is gearing up to expand in the region with the relocation of Phil Steggals from the UK, the hiring of Natalie Sew Hoy and a major office refurbishment.

Greg ClaytonFounded in 1992, the firm also has offices in the UK, Malaysia, India and China.

Clayton (pictured) joined in 2009 from RS Consulting in London, where he was an Associate Director. Last year, he moved to the Kadence International Singapore office as Insight Director.

In his new role, he replaces Lee, who has left the firm to set up a joint venture in Singapore, working with a 'major UK research group'.

Clayton is supported by Steggals, who has relocated to Singapore to take over the post of Insight Director, working alongside Natalie Sew Hoy who is joining the senior team as Insight Manager from Nestlé New Zealand.

As part of the Singapore expansion, the office is currently undergoing a refurbishment programme, to offer viewing facilities for international clients who wish to monitor sessions remotely, and to accommodate the expanding insight and field services team.

Clayton comments: 'As soon as we started to expand our insight capacity in 2010 we were overwhelmed with the interest received from regional businesses, as well as work from the Kadence network. Bringing Phil and Natalie to Singapore will immediately increase our capacity to meet current demand, as well as provide us with the building blocks to grow the operation further.'
