Maritz Moves to New UK Office

Maritz Research has moved into its new offices in High Wycombe, UK, making room as it continues rapid European growth.

The move was announced in May, when the customer experience measurement specialist reported a 13% increase in revenue to £9.4m and the recruitment of eighty new researchers in Europe and Asia over the previous 12 months - including 40 in the UK. At 15,000 square foot the new UK centre adds 70% more space than the previous base, in nearby Marlow.

The company says a series of large project wins, primarily involving global accounts in the automotive, financial services and hospitality industries, have helped it add 25% to its European staff in 2010 and an anticipated 30% in 2011.

Also in the last few months, the firm announced it was moving its London-based call centre to a listed building in Smithfield Market, increasing its capacity from 65 stations to 110; and the acquisition of German customer feedback agency, Imagin AG, in September. A year ago it bought US-based social media research firm evolve24.

Maritz Research says it will continue to grow headcount from its current 230 research professionals in Europe and 900 globally. UK Director of HR Dawn White comments: 'The new office allows us to continue growing into 2012 and beyond and provides our staff with a great place to work. We've been working hard to ensure the development of the business, and we're delighted to see this manifested in our commitment to a newly refitted and purposefully-designed office.'

Maritz Research is a unit of US-based Maritz, founded in 1973, and is online at www.maritzresearch.co.uk .
