Former Harris Execs Set Up in Hong Kong

Six former employees of Harris Interactive in Hong Kong have set up Anovation Asia, a new full service agency which is majority owned by data specialist Anovation.

Harris announced it was closing its three Asia offices in Hong Kong, Singapore and Shanghai back in July, following a 9% drop in quarterly revenue.

Anovation Asia is led by MD Kenrick Leung who left his role as Director of Research Operations at Harris Interactive Asia last year. Prior to this, he spent 13 years in senior roles at MBL Group, and worked at Incepta Marketing Intelligence, Frank Small (now part of TNS), INRA and NFO.

The new agency offers outsourced field and data services, along with project management support to research firms based in Asia. Commenting on the launch, Leung said: 'Being able to quickly bring the whole operations and management team in Hong Kong over to the new operation ensured continuity of clients - and their support has been fantastic.'
