Prosper Launches Automotive InsightCenter

In the US, Prosper Technologies has launched the Automotive InsightCenter, a service offering feedback on how consumers' automotive purchase plans are changing, which brands are taking market share, and if vehicle owners are planning to switch brands.

key questions... who's planning to switch, to what and why?Prosper Technologies is part of Prosper Business Development, alongside sister firms BigInsight and BIGResearch. Its new service pulls in monthly data from around 8,000 consumers covering automotive purchase plans and preferences. This feedback is then combined with data from the US Department of Labor and the Energy information Association, to provide an additional layer of perspective - for example assessing how gas prices affect purchase intentions.

To support the initiative, Prosper Technologies has also rolled out an Automotive Android Tablet App, giving a monthly update on what vehicles consumers are driving, what they are planning to buy, what they just bought, reasons for buying, and which media influences them to purchase.

Last month, Prosper launched a new resource to provide advertisers and publishers with insights on African-American consumers, while the previous month it introduced the Hispanic InsightCenter, to track how Hispanics feel about the economy.
