StrategyOne Hires Comms Measurement Leader

US research and measurement consultancy StrategyOne, part of the Edelman PR network, has appointed Pauline Draper-Watts as Executive Vice President in charge of its Communications Measurement and Analytics group.

Pauline Draper-WattsThrough its operations in the US, Paris, London, Brussels, Dubai and Abu Dhabi, StrategyOne provides stakeholder insights, analysis and media measurement, specializing in reputation, branding and communications research.

Draper-Watts joins with a particular focus on strategy development, effectiveness of news and social media relations activity, competitor positioning, and performance measurement against objectives. Most recently, she served as SVP of comms specialist Prime Research, prior to which she co-founded media analysis firm Precis in Europe and established it in the US. Earlier, she spent nearly a decade at Millward Brown, where as SVP she built a team of client service professionals and media analysts, having previously served more than six years as a Director at media measurement company Computerised Media Services, prior to its acquisition by Millward Brown.

Additionally, she is past Chair of the Institute for Public Relations' Commission on Measurement and Evaluation, spearheading its contribution to the Barcelona Declaration of Measurement Principles.

In her new role, Draper-Watts reports to the company's US President Robert Moran, who comments: 'Pauline provides added value not only to StrategyOne but also to our clients and future clients. We are seeing growth in the business, and having additional senior counsel will enable us to continue with this trajectory while not compromising any of our core values for quality, excellence and insight.'
