AbsolutData Hires Triumvirate for India

AbsolutData Research & Analytics has added three C-suite leaders to its management team in India, to support its 'aggressive global growth plans'. COO Sundar Ramaswamy, CFO Abishek Sawhny and CTO Rahul Monie will all be based in the Gurgaon office.

San Francisco-based AbsolutData offers consulting-oriented analytics to help clients take data-driven decisions.

Ramaswamy brings almost fifteen years of experience in consulting, off-shoring and outsourcing, and joins following six years at McKinsey where he led the Global Analytics capability. Before this he spent just under seven years as a consultant at Accenture working on operations transformation, e-commerce strategy and domestic technology outsourcing.

Sawhny brings more than two decades of experience from the UK, India and the US, including strategy consulting, cross border company purchase and sales, diligence, funding, ERP, tax and audit. He was CEO at US company Tensys and CFO at RMS, and has worked at Arthur Andersen, Tilda, TeamCube, Wagner & Partners, Morgan Brown & Spofforth.

Monie has worked for 22 years in areas including IT business solutions, ERP, data center services and product development, and has successfully managed both technology start-ups and P&L's in large organisations. Most recently he worked as Director Engineering at US-based search-driven research application provider Firstrain, and previously he worked at Comsat Max and Microsoft Consulting Services. Earlier in his career he was technology lead at The British Council for the SAARC region.
