MMA Hires Former MarketShare Exec Jude Ryan

Ipsos-owned Marketing Management Analytics (MMA) has appointed former MarketShare exec Jude Ryan as Vice President of Analytic Innovation, with responsibility for expanding the division's predictive solutions.

Jude RyanMMA was part of Aegis Media before being moved into Synovate in December 2008, merged with Synovate's global analytics consulting practice SMA and then joining Ipsos with the Synovate takeover last year. The division provides analytics technology and consulting to help firms address marketing mix, pricing, and sales force effectiveness issues.

Ryan joins from MarketShare, where as Director of Analytical Insights he provided thought leadership in the areas of marketing mix models, predictive models, segmentation, experimental design, optimization and survey research. Prior to this he was a Director at UBS in the advanced analytics department, and an Associate Director at Digitas.

During his career, Ryan has developed and applied analytical methodologies from econometrics, classical statistics, machine learning and data mining to support innovation and growth in various industries. He has also played a lead role in developing automated analytic systems and reporting tools using a variety of statistical software and methodologies.

In his new role, he will report directly to Tigran Markaryan, MMA's SVP of Custom Analytics, who welcomes Ryan's experience in being able to think 'out-of-the-box analytically', as well as his understanding of both analytic and market research insights. 'I am extremely pleased to have Jude join us as we work to solve many of the complex analytic challenges the industry faces in order to create meaningful value for our clients,' Markaryan adds.
