SimpleUsability Hires Four in Leeds

Behavioural research consultancy SimpleUsability has appointed four new members of staff: Emma Travis, Alex Priestley, Laura Carlton and Sharon Dale.

SimpleUsability hires...The Leeds-based firm, which also has offices in London, uses eye tracking to monitor conscious and subconscious behaviour. Last week, the firm's technology was used in an episode of reality TV show Big Brother, as part of a challenge given to housemates.

Travis (pictured) joins with both off-line and online usability testing experience, having previously worked as a Conversion Executive at digital marketing consultancy Summit Media. This role included helping to manage clients' online strategies, conducting analytics audits to monitor traffic and investigate anomalies, and assisting with multi-variant testing and the analysis of results.

In her new role as User Experience Practitioner, Travis will be tasked with strengthening the agency's conversion rate optimisation offering.

Carlton joins as an Account Executive after two years at creative marketing agency Brass, and brings experience of client liaison, digital asset management and new business research.

Psychology graduate Priestley will officially join the team at the beginning of July, also as a User Experience Practitioner, having previously worked as an intern at the agency, gaining a grounding in user experience techniques.

Dale joins with a background in operations management, having previously spent four years as Centre Manager at facilities management company Creative Space Management.
