Carat Hires Vitti to Lead Data and Analytics Practice

Global media planning and buying group Carat has appointed Mike Vitti as Senior Vice President of Data and Analytics, to oversee a practice comprising around 30 US staff.

Owned by global media group Aegis, the Carat network employs more than 5,000 people in 70 countries worldwide.

Vitti joins from sports sponsorship insights provider Repucom, where he served as Chief Data Officer for nearly three years. Prior to this, he was Director of R&D specializing in predictive modeling at non-profit golfing membership organization PGA Tour Inc., Associate Director of Analytics and Research at healthcare alliance Premier, and Manager of Data Analysis at Medicare contractor TriCenturion. Earlier, he held senior roles at Conita Technologies, and at auto manufacturers Bosch, UTA and Trans-Matic.
