Catalina Ramps Up and Relocates Boston Team

Point-of-sale data giant Catalina is planning to triple the size of its Boston,US-based team and relocate it to a 75,000 square foot office in the city's 'Innovation District' in November.

John CaronCatalina offers in and out-of-store marketing platforms to help clients deliver targeted messages to consumers. The company also taps in to transaction-level shopper data for approximately 90 million households and 130 million health consumers annually.

Earlier this year, Catalina launched a purchase-based targeting solution called BuyerVision, which identifies high potential buyer audiences for specific product types, based on in-store purchasing behavior. It also acquired mobile shopper marketing solution provider Modiv Media, and has since almost doubled its mobile team, with plans to grow it by a further 33% by the end of the year.
