dunnhumbyUSA Expands in Chicago

Retail data specialist dunnhumbyUSA is to extend its presence in Chicago by taking the entire twenty-second floor of the city's Merchandise Mart, where it has plans to add 30 or more new members of staff in the next eighteen months.

New offices in Chicago's Merchandise MartdunnhumbyUSA is a joint venture between grocery chain Kroger and London-based dunnhumby - the data firm behind the Tesco Clubcard loyalty scheme.

'Chicago represents a significant area of growth for dunnhumbyUSA' says Milen Mahadevan, SVP, Client Solutions, 'and our presence here has already aided in growing our consumer packaged goods and retail business. The city also has a deep talent pool for the type of staff we are seeking to recruit, and the move to The Merchandise Mart provides greater visibility which will help in further solidifying client relationships.'

The firm first established a presence in Chicago in 2008, having been launched in Cincinnati in 2003. It now employs 600 staff, and is currently planning to move its Cincinnati HQ to a brand new building at Fifth and Race Streets, Downtown, adjacent to clients Macy's and The Kroger Co.
