Microsoft Hires Experian Exec for Ad Intelligence Role

Microsoft Advertising has hired former Experian researcher Faye Weeks for the newly created role of Senior Marketing Research Intelligence Manager, based in its London office.

Faye WeeksThe company offers advertising opportunities on media such as MSN, Windows Live and Xbox, for multinationals and individual companies looking to target a country or region.

Weeks (pictured) joins with more than ten years' digital experience, and an understanding of both TV and print research. Most recently, she served as Head of Business Development and Publisher Manager at Experian Digital Advertising, working with broadcasters and publishers to develop strategies for the use of customer or third party data to target advertising.

Her previous roles include Director at digital media research agency Connect Insight, Head of Commercial Strategy & Operations at Orange, Research Manager at the Financial Times, and Research & Planning Manager at Granada Broadcasting. She began her career at Research International.

In her new role, Weeks will tap into Microsoft Advertising's data to provide intelligence to advertisers, while offering clients information about how they can exploit the company's product portfolio.

She reports to Donna Hindson, Trade Marketing Director, who comments: 'Faye's appointment reflects our commitment to using consumer insight to drive platform development, so that we can remain at the forefront of product innovation, and advising clients on creative online campaign planning. It's great to have her on board.'
