Big Data Firm MapR Expands to Europe

US-based big data analytics and business intelligence specialist MapR Technologies has opened a European HQ in London, from which it will provide technical support and a sales resource to accelerate the adoption of its solutions across the continent.

Launched in 2009, San Jose, California-based MapR develops Apache Hadoop-derived software, providing an infrastructure environment for aggregating and analyzing data. The new office will support agreements with existing clients, as well as system integration partners across Europe.
