InsightExpress Splits CEO Role
US-based InsightExpress has promoted Drew Lipner and Marc Ryan to the role of Co-Chief Executive Officer, succeeding William Lipner who is retiring from active management of the company.
 Drew Lipner, who joined in 2003, and Ryan, who joined in 2010, will share the CEO responsibilities, with Lipner leading the company's sales efforts and ad operations function, and Ryan assuming responsibility for the firm's research, project management, panel and sample, engineering and IT, and marketing divisions. They will share responsibility for the finance and HR functions.
Former CEO William Lipner, who will continue as Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors, comments: 'InsightExpress has grown considerably over the past few years and Drew and Marc have made enormous contributions to this effort and are now ready for their next challenge. I believe their appointments represent an important milestone in the development of our company and they will help accelerate our growth and market position even further.'
William Lipner joined the company in 2005 after a 30-year career at NFO WorldGroup (now TNS), where he latterly served as Chairman and CEO. His former NFO WorldGroup colleague Patrick Healy is retiring from his role as InsightExpress Vice Chairman, but will maintain his relationship with the company as an independent Board member.
