Ipsos Appointment Adds 'Diversity' to Board

In Paris, Ipsos has appointed former EDS VP Mary Dupont-Madinier as an Independent Director on its Board of Directors, replacing Wladimir Mollof who has stepped down from the role. In a statement, the firm said the move will bring a 'greater diversity' to the Board.

Mary Dupont-MadinierDupont-Madinier is currently a Partner at Valtus Transition, which specialises in interim executive management. She began her career with aerospace information systems company Thalès in New York and then in Paris, as Deputy Director and then Commercial Director, before joining Cable & Wireless in London in roles including VP, Desktop & Intranet Services. In 2002, she joined EDS (Hewlett Packard) in Chicago as VP, Client Executive.

Group Co-Presidents Jean-Marc Lech and Didier Truchot commented: 'Thanks to the rich variety of her skills and the international nature of her career, our new director will bring extra added value to the Board's considerations.'

Mollof has held a seat on Ipsos' Board since 2004, and is also a member of its Audit Committee. After holding management positions within Groupe Dupont de Nemours in the US and in Europe, he helped set up and manage European investment funds and mergers and acquisitions activities.
