SurveyUSA Extends Service to Newspaper Sector
Public opinion pollster SurveyUSA has rolled out its services to the US newspaper industry, and appointed newspaper-industry veteran Mort Goldstrom to lead the new division.
SurveyUSA offers full-service research - such as ad recall studies, readership research, and digital effectiveness surveys - to clients in the media, government, academic and corporate sectors.
CEO Jay Leve says that the new service is designed to help content companies make the transition from print to digital multi-platform.
Goldstrom (pictured) joins after more than fourteen years at the Newspaper Association of America, where his role involved acting as an advisor on ad effectiveness, and conducted engagement, pre-print, digital, and multi-platform research. Before this, he held senior sales and marketing roles at The Times Herald-Record, Columbia State Newspaper, The Miami Herald, Viewtron, and Knight Ridder.
Commenting on the appointment, Leve said: 'Mort Goldstrom is the exact right person to make sure every multi-platform newspaper in America is getting the best possible ROI for each platform. SurveyUSA has a great story to tell. Starting today, newspaper publishers and newsroom executives will have their first chance to hear it.'
