ORC International Names Kooyman as New CEO

Marc Litvinoff has resigned from his role as President and CEO of customer and employee research agency ORC International, and is being replaced by former Knowledge Networks CEO Simon Kooyman, who will take up his new position on Friday.

Simon KooymanLitvinoff and ORC International's leadership team led the firm's acquisition from its previous owner Infogroup in 2011, with financial backing from private equity firm Lake Capital Management.

While the reason for Litvinoff's resignation has not been disclosed, Lake Capital co-founder Terry Graunke said in a statement: 'Over the past three years, Marc built the strong organization that exists today. We wish him the very best in his future endeavors.'

Kooyman (pictured) will join with sixteen years' market research sector experience. He previously worked for Knowledge Networks (KN) for more than five years, until leading the company's sale to GfK in 2011, upon which he became COO of GfK Custom Research North America. Before KN, he spent five years as Chairman and CEO of Ipsos North America, and before that he was President of VNU Entertainment Group.

Graunke added: 'We are excited to have Simon lead the organization going forward. His leadership and industry experience will enable ORC International to continue to deliver outstanding products and services to its customers.'
