Browell to Lead Dipsticks Media Division

North of England full service agency Dipsticks Research has promoted Penny Browell to the position of Research Director, responsible for the firm's 'Other Lines of Enquiry' media research arm in addition to her current role as Head of the TV research division otherlines.tv.

Penny BrowellBrowell (pictured) joined the firm in 2007 from the BBC where she was Research Manager for BBC1. Prior to this, she worked as a Senior Media Analyst at EBU, Research Manager at Discovery Networks, and Research Group Head at ITV.

In her newly expanded role, Browell is responsible for the 'Other Lines of Enquiry' division, which combines traditional and new research methodologies including neuroscience, mobile, social media analysis and data visualisation, to deliver insights to the media, advertising and marketing sectors.

Her new team of researchers includes Dan Siddle, who has been promoted to the role of Research Innovation Specialist from his previous position as RE.
