Future Foundation Expands to New York

UK-based consumer insight and strategic consulting firm The Future Foundation has expanded to the US with the opening of an office in New York, where it has relocated Heather Corker in the role of VP, Consumer Trends, North America.

Heather CorkerThe London-based firm, which was launched in 1996, specialises in identifying and forecasting social and consumer trends, and determining the extent of their impact on markets, services, brands and products. The company's management team bought out previous owner Experian in 2009.

US-born Corker (pictured) joined in 2011 as Editorial Analyst, writing Future Foundation reports on consumer trends, while also acting as an Account Manager. In her new role, she will oversee the US roll-out of the firm's consumer trends service nVision, backed by a proprietary research programme that has been analysing US consumer behaviour and attitudes for more than five years. The solution combines quant and qual elements - including a network of trendspotters and residents in over 20 US cities.
