Northern Light Launches Research Management Module
Research portal provider Northern Light has launched an application called Primary Research Manager, embedded within its SinglePoint Strategic Research Portal, helping research managers to set up, track and control primary research projects.
The firm says the package reduces overheads and improves time to publication. Staff at client companies can use it to create projects with custom metadata, control publication to appropriate groups, manage milestones with research vendors and accomplish workflow steps such as approving vendor payment, approving report publication, or automatically provisioning projects from an organization's accounting and purchasing systems. External suppliers working on a particular project can be given secure access to the system to upload documents directly.
