Senior Research Moves at Telemundo

In New York, Spanish-language broadcast network Telemundo Media has promoted Yatisha Bothwell to VP, Insights and Strategy, and appointed Latha Sarathy as Vice President of its Media Digital Research division.

Latha Sarathy and Yatisha BothwellOwned by NBCUniversal, Telemundo Media distributes content to US Hispanics and audiences around the world, through its TV network and digital and emerging platforms including mobile devices. The firm claims to be the second largest provider of Spanish-language content worldwide.

Sarathy (pictured top) joins from African American broadcaster Interactive One/Radio One Digital, where as VP, Audience Insights & Analytics, she led all digital and ad sales research, web analytics and consumer insights; and created an online research community of African American consumers. She previously held senior research roles at CBS Television Stations, Univision Online, Sporting News Media, Disney Magazines and Wenner Media.

In her new position, Sarathy will be responsible for managing all analytics projects, identifying digital marketing strategies, and monitoring metrics and audience opportunities for Telemundo.com and mun2.com. She will work with cross functional teams to provide an evaluation of the client business environment and identify market opportunities and threats.

Bothwell, who previously served as Director, Consumer Insights, joined the group in 2004, and has since held a number of research-related roles including Network Research Manager Ad Sales, and Associate Research Director. Her new position involves launching insights solutions for Telemundo Sales, specifically for branded entertainment and campaign ROI. She will also be responsible for the commercialization of data from the firm's consumer panel.

Both report to Gregg Liebman, SVP of Advertising Sales Insights & Strategy, Telemundo Media.
