Schlesinger Ramps Up European Leadership Team

US-based fieldwork group Schlesinger Associates has created two new senior roles in Europe: Eric Nalpas becomes overall Managing Director, and James Sallows Managing Director of its online data collection arm Schlesinger Interactive.

In addition to a large number of US locations, the firm offers viewing facilities and fieldwork services through its agencies Paserelles and ConsuMed Research in Paris France; Schmiedl Marktforschung in Germany; and The Research House in London.

Nalpas, who is the former owner and MD of ConsuMed Research, will now oversee the development of all Schlesinger's brands and qual/quant services in Europe. His background includes ten years at Nielsen, where his roles included overseeing consumer goods panels; and sixteen years at consumer electronics group RCA/Thomson, where he managed several businesses at a European and worldwide level.

Sallows is an online research exec with more than fifteen years' experience of tracking, ad hoc and syndicated research. He joins from Ipsos ASI, where he held the role of SVP, Research Excellence, and developed global research methods and sample standards globally. Prior to that, he worked for eight years at Lightspeed Research. In his new position, Sallows is responsible for introducing Schlesinger's online services across Europe.
