Federated Media Names Data Solutions Head

In the US, online advertising network Federated Media Publishing has appointed Keith Fagan as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Data Solutions, with a remit to create custom and proprietary branded audience and content data segments.

Keith FaganThe firm sells ad space in a network of online properties, keeping a percentage and giving the rest to the site owners. In 2011, the company acquired Lijit networks, which provides ad services, audience analytics and reader engagements tools for online publishers.

Fagan (pictured) joins with more than twenty years' experience in multi-channel marketing. Most recently, he was Head of New Initiatives at Datalogix, responsible for strategic partnerships, enterprise business development and product launches. Prior to this he spent almost fifteen years in various sales, marketing and client services roles at Epsilon Targeting, a division of Alliance Data, and Abacus, a division of DoubleClick that was acquired by Alliance Data in 2008.

In his new role, Fagan will oversee the Data Solutions team, which is responsible for building a suite of analytics offerings derived from Federated Media's data store. In addition to custom audience segments, these include consumer trend spotting, private marketplace offerings and mobile data.
