nGage Labs to Open Analytics Innovation Center

In the US, targeted mobile comms specialist nGage Labs is opening an Analytics Innovation Center in Little Rock, Arkansas, to develop new ways to utilize big data streams for delivery of real-time personalized digital experiences to shoppers.

Rod FordnGage offers proprietary mobile-enabled platforms, in-store location technologies, and real-time purchase propensity analytics, through which retailers can personalize and engage shoppers directly through their mobile device and interactive smart displays. The firm is led by CEO Rod Ford (pictured), who previously founded customer targeting firm CognitiveData and sold it to CRM group Merkle.

The new center will develop systems to deliver personalized digital experiences for customers of retailers, restaurants, campuses and sporting events. To support the initiative, the firm says it is currently hiring for 35 'knowledge-based' jobs at an average salary of about $100k.

Ford comments: 'nGage Labs is about using the predictive power of big data analytics to transform impersonal mass mobile communications into a highly personalized and engaging experience. We seriously considered building out the analytics capabilities in Scottsdale, where we have a significant footprint, but the support of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission, coupled with what we hope to be a partnership with local universities made Little Rock an attractive option.'
