Former Colleagues Launch Tribes Research

Former Research Now and Verve execs Jo Winning and Kevin Goldberg have set up a full service online research agency called Tribes Research, based in Guildford, Surrey.

Jo Winning and Kevin GoldbergWinning spent nearly four years at Research Now, before co-founding custom panel and community specialist EasyInsites, and more recently joining MR community and panel specialist Verve as Business Development Consultant. She began her career as a Research Executive at the BBC, and later held senior roles at ITV, Counterpoint Research and Lightspeed Research. Goldberg joins from Verve, where he served as Head of Operations, prior to which he spent five years at Research Now in a variety of senior roles, was European Operations Director at Greenfield Online, Director of Research Operations Europe at Lightspeed Research, and Research and Planning Manager at GfK Marketing Services.

At their new company, the pair are joined by Client Services Manager Rebecca Tagg, who previously served as Research Operations Manager at EasyInsites, and was a Research Supervisor at JD Power and Associates.

Tribes collects data via a range of digital media for use in qual and quant analysis and insight studies, sample management and supply, fieldwork management and data delivery, and mobile surveys and polls. The company also builds online community panels, and conducts ethnographic research.
