BrainJuicer Welcomes 17% Revenue Increase

UK-based online specialist BrainJuicer has reported a 17% increase in revenue to £24m for the year ended 31st December 2013. Pre-tax profit for the period will be around £3.5m, compared to £1.5m in 2012 and £2.8m in 2011.

John KearonIn 2012, for the first time since it was founded in 2000, BrainJuicer reported a 'poor year', blaming a combination of flat sales and cost increases for a 45% drop in operating profit to £1.5m from £2.7m in 2011. Following a 'disappointing' trading period in the final months of 2012, the firm made 9% of its workforce redundant.

In a trading statement released today, the company says it has now turned a corner, with its UK and US businesses both performing well during 2013, and all its operations bar Germany delivering increased revenue. BrainJuicer has also reported an 'excellent' fourth quarter, during which revenues were 'well ahead of those in the disappointing comparative 2012 period'.

The Company, which is led by CEO John Kearon (pictured), will announce its final results on 21st March.
