Marketing Technology Firm Launches in US

In Columbus, Ohio, Wilson RMS co-founder Dave Wilson has launched a new agency called gearDigital, to offer businesses consumer data-driven insights across a range of marketing platforms.

Linda Thomas BrooksFor much of his 30-year career, Wilson has led the development of marketing strategies, with a focus on the application of analytics. In 2001 he co-founded marketing services firm Wilson RMS, whose offer includes audience understanding and multichannel customer analysis. The new firm, which is an affiliate company of Wilson RMS, will serve as a data hub and marketing technology studio with an independent consumer insights laboratory specifically focused on big data analytics.

gearDigital will be led by media executive Linda Thomas Brooks (pictured), who has spent the majority of her career in roles encompassing media, consumer behavior and technology at Interpublic-owned ad agency The Martin Agency and General Motors Mediaworks. She will be supported by Managing Director Chris Anderson and Chief Technology Officer Dustin Leggans.

Commenting on the launch, Wilson said: 'More than ever before, we see a tremendous opportunity in the marketplace to empower accountable marketing with consumer data science. As traditional marketing and digital advertising platforms evolve rapidly on the web and mobile, it is more critical now than ever to measure and optimize customer acquisition strategies across multiple channels to remain competitive.'
