Outsourcer RDI Buys Kentucky's SIRS

Cincinnati, US-based RDI Corporation has completed the acquisition of Fort Mitchell, KY-based research firm SIRS Inc., for an undisclosed sum.

The buy is RDI's fifth in three years. SIRS has in-house quant, qual and data collection divisions, and specializes in developing continuous research systems. Its current management team and employees will continue in their roles, based in Fort Mitchell and in Highland Heights, KY.

RDI, established in 1978, provides custom solutions including sales, customer service, marketing and technology, on an outsourced basis allowing clients to focus on their core activities.

RDI's CEO Bronson Trebbi (pictured) said in a statement: 'SIRS has built a solid reputation in the market research industry since its founding 25 years ago and is recognized as a leader in the retail and service industries for its expertise in research and action planning. We look forward to sharing some of their advanced analytical methodologies and sales-predictive models with some of our current clients. Their capabilities and their tenured team of employees made SIRS a very attractive target for us.' Trebbi says the buy leaves his firm 'in an exciting place' and adds buoyantly: 'We feel like we can help anybody grow and anybody expand.'
