SoapBoxSample Acquires Panel and Team from ClickIQ

SoapBoxSample, the online sampling division of US-based data collection firm ISA, has acquired the ClickIQ e/visor panel of more than 350,000 panel members across the US and Canada as part of its strategy for growth and expansion; along with its full service research team IQCenter.

SoapBoxSample Acquires Panel and Team from ClickIQSoapBoxSample was formed in October 2012 by data collection firm Interviewing Service of America (ISA), as a standalone online sampling company offering a combination of resources opt-in panels to social media and live sample. Its core offering is the proprietary MySoapBox panel, whose members participate in custom multi-part online communities, completing surveys and diaries and agreeing to the collection of passive data.

e/visor's deeply profiled panel was developed to support the needs of ClickIQ's clients and has never been sold externally, so the buy brings 'a new, highly engaged pool of respondents'. SoapBoxSample says it will enhance its own position in the marketplace 'supporting high touch-point engagement projects such as Passive Metering, iHuts, Diaries and Communities in addition to traditional online surveys'.

ClickIQ Vice President Robert Boese says ISA and SoapBoxSample were 'the right match', found after an 'exhaustive search'. SoapBoxSample's Chief of Operations Jacqueline Rosales says the firm will 'continue to seek opportunities which ... drive it forward as a vibrant, fast growing company'.

The firms say retaining the IQCenter team, which is based in Minneapolis, will compliment and expand ISA's service offers, while offering a smooth transition for ClickIQ's clients.
