Populus Launches 'Future Parliament Panel'

UK-based research and consulting firm Populus has launched a 'Future Parliament Panel', comprising a group of MPs who are considered well placed to retain their seats at the 2015 general election, combined with candidates hoping to win new seats.

Populus Launches 'Future Parliament Panel'The panel is an addition to the firm's existing MP polling services, which include a political classification system called A Portrait of Political Britain, launched last year to identify the issues that are most likely to influence individuals in next year's election.

Populus says results will be delivered according to a number of electoral scenarios, to provide organisations with insight into how a post-2015 parliament will think, regardless of the results on election night.

Matthew Field, the firm's Parliamentary Affairs Executive, comments: 'With less than a year to go until one of the tightest general elections in recent memory, it is more important than ever to understand what future MPs think about issues, policies or sectors. The Future Parliament Panel will provide clients with the knowledge needed to plan their engagement strategies in advance of the new parliament.'
