Quantcast Hires Former Google Exec as VP Operations

San Francisco-based audience measurement and digital advertising technology firm Quantcast has appointed former Google exec Adrian D'Souza as Vice President of Operations.

Adrian D'SouzaQuantcast provides web site owners with traffic, demographic, lifestyle, business and geographic audience data, to help them understand and profile their best customers, and target similar prospects across the web. Last month, the firm added a new feature called Audience Interests to its Quantcast Measure product, to provide mobile app publishers with detailed insight into their audience's web browsing behaviour.

D'Souza (pictured) joins from Google, where he most recently served as Director of Global Brand Solutions, and was previously Director of Media Services, responsible for international operations at YouTube and Google Display Network in the Americas. Prior to that he was VP of Advertising Operations at CNET Networks (now CBS Interactive), Director of Product Management at Engage Media, and Senior Product Manager at Flycast Communcations.

In his new role, D'Souza will be responsible for overseeing, developing and leading all operational activities, as well as for the firm's continued global expansion.
