TNS BMRB Strengthens Leadership

Kantar public sector division TNS BMRB has made two senior appointments, Keith Bolling as Head of National and Official Statistics Surveys and Gillian Prior as Head of Longitudinal Studies - on the back of strong growth in the two areas.

Bolling brings more than twenty years of experience of developing and managing large-scale surveys for a wide range of government clients. He began his career in the Social Survey Division of the Office for National Statistics, working on the Labour Force Survey and the Health Survey for England, among others. In his new role, he takes charge of key projects including the Crime Survey for England and Wales, the Cabinet Office's Community Life Survey and the National Survey for Wales.

Prior has also worked in the sector for more than twenty years, with a focus on developing, managing and analysing large and complex surveys for government, academic and other public sector clients. She is already the Project Director of the Understanding Society initiative, and will add a range of studies to her remit, including the high profile Longitudinal Study of Young People in England and a number of recent wins involving the collection of biomeasures. Before joining TNS BMRB she was Deputy Head of the Health Research Group at the National Centre for Social Research (NatCen).

Two more recruits from NatCen, Steven Coutinho and Alice McGee, join substantial teams supporting the two new appointees.

Dr Michelle Harrison, CEO of TNS BMRB comments: 'I am delighted to appoint Keith and Gillian into these roles, which reflect not only their professional expertise but the strength and depth of our high profile client work in these most complex and challenging areas of UK social research.'
